What the client said

Pavel Dráždil / Managing Director, Elmos Semiconductor

When our company decided to set up a branch in the Czech Republic, we honestly had very little prepared and planned. We threw ourselves into getting our team up and running headfirst – sometimes even recklessly. At every step, however, we encountered tremendous professionalism and a well-developed business environment that allowed us to find our bearings quickly and get our operations started. joyfor space, Honza Kulig and all his partners and colleagues are, for me, the best example of this positive experience. It was thanks to Honza’s energy, ideas and optimism that we were able to move – and on time, too! – into our dream office. Not only do all of us at the Brno branch love it there, it is also a source of well-deserved admiration at our parent company. It is not very likely that I will ever set up another company, but if I do, I already know who the general contractor for the offices will be. Honza, once again, a big thank you to you and all your colleagues.

How it went

An office doesn’t have to be just a place where you put in your working day. It can hold plenty of hidden stories, and the client can pleasantly surprise you.

For Elmos’s new offices in Brno, we wanted to create a space with a character of its own that supports the team and works well every single day.

🔲 A strong emphasis on contrasting materials and colours

🟥 The reception as the only element in the company colour

🫧 Ergonomics, acoustics and greenery as the dominant theme of the whole space

✅ Inspired by hotel interiors

🫵 Thank you, Pavel Dráždil and Michaela Skyříková, for your enormous trust throughout the process, for the courage to do things differently and, above all, for a relaxed year together 😉

🤝 Special thanks go to Jiří Fejtek, Jan Buček and the whole Campus Science Park team at White Star Real Estate CZ&SK for the commercial and technical cooperation on this refurbishment.
